Books are a genuine source of increasing your knowledge. Bill Gates was once asked, “What would he do if he had some superpowers”? And you know what his answer was? He answered that he wanted to have a superpower of reading all the books in the world.

The world is not perfect when it comes to certain understandings, knowledge, interpretations, techniques, etc. Therefore, many questions arise in human minds. Some intellectuals try to answer those questions in the form of books.

So, here is the list of the best books to read. These are the books one must-read. And these are genuinely a source of understanding the world from a different aspect. I hope you would like to read all the books suggested on the list of “Best Books to Read”. These books are genuinely going to make a solid impact on your life.

1.    The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck

This book comes to my mind on top of the list whenever I express about the best books to read. Mark Manson’s “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck” was an enormous success and turned out to be “New York Times Best Seller”. Mark had a unique aspect of how life could be made more interesting and peaceful by not throwing too many concerns to each and everything coming on the way. The book comprises a series of examples from the lives of some outstanding personalities. Mark makes it easier to understand his theory by mixing humor with real-life tragedies. You get a bowl full of real life-changing perceptions to pour into your mind. I bet this book is going to make a tremendous impact on your life. Read it if you haven’t yet read it.

2.    The Power of Now

The next mention in our list of best books to read is “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. It’s the best book ever written on spiritual enlightenment. The book encourages us to contemplate our problems and offers a workable solution to those problems. We, most of the time, try to live in past or worry about the future. The author calls it to be in the state of the unconscious mind. He emphasizes living in the present. You can click here to go through the summary of this book, but I would rather recommend you to read the entire book. It’s definitely going to reduce much of your problems.

3.    Man’s Search for Meaning

The author of this book is, “Viktor E. Frankl” one survivor of the concentration camps built by the Nazis. Again, this is one of the best books to read. The author describes in this book how inevitable suffering is in one’s life. He tells his audience about the gruesome routine he had to have in the concentration camp. He lost his family, his wife, but still managed to survive in such a hostile environment where death chased him like an old lover. This book is pure motivation. I had a tough time deciding whether to put it on the second or third spot. However, I would like to have feedback from the readers about how was the list. But it could only be possible if you read this book.

4.    Rich Dad Poor Dad

This book is a little off from those discussed above, in terms of its genre. But it really had a huge impact on my life. So, I kept it on the list. You can read it’s summary by clicking here. This book is all about financial education and how money works differently for different people. The excellent thing about the book is, a person with an average mental capacity with no detailed knowledge of economics can understand the author’s words and carve useful meanings out of them. If you want to get the motivation to be an entrepreneur, I would highly recommend this book to you.

5.    Forty Rules of Love

The last and the most important mention in “Best Books to Read” is a novel by Elif Shafak. This book is a gift for those seeking spiritual enlightenment. It’s about the friendship of the great Rumi and his companion, Shams Tabrizi. The book was published in 2009. It tells us about how a wandering dervish changed the life of a great Islamic scholar. This book will make you so absorbed that it would be hard for you to leave it without reading it completely.

Best Books to Read

These were the 5 best books to read for me. There were so many other influential books, which I’ve read and admired, but I tried to mention most of the non-fiction books on my list except the last one by Elif Shafak. They are arguably the best books for me. It was a tough job for me to make a list of the five best books, so I hope you would acknowledge the difficulty.

Let me know your list. I would like to see your list. So, please share it with me in the comment box. If someone reads any of the books mentioned above after seeing this list, please share your experience with me. Have a great day.
